Putin names main problem of international relations

MINSK, 15 September (BelTA) – The United States is using, by the hands of the Ukrainian army, cluster munitions in the Special Military Operation zone, and this is a crime on their part, Russian President Vladimir Putin told the media on the sidelines of the meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, BelTA has learned.

The Russian head of state stated that cluster munitions, which are supplied by the United States, are widely used in the SMO zone. He also recalled that he had already commented on this topic. "I have nothing to add here. The only thing worth saying is probably the following... Perhaps, this situation reflects, like a drop of water, what is happening in the world as a whole: there is one country that believes itself to be exceptional. This is the United States. It feels free doing things that even it considers a crime," the Russian president said.

"It's the United states that is using cluster munitions. In this case, by the hands of the Ukrainian army," he added.

The United States considers the use of such ammunition a crime yet allows itself to do so, the Russian leader stressed. "This is the main problem of today's international relations," he said. “The overwhelming majority of participants in international relations are fighting with us for a multipolar world. Because this situation suits almost no one. I say ‘almost', because even the countries who are kind of allies of the United States are also unhappy about this situation, about their accessory roles, I assure you," the head of state said.
