
MOSCOW, 25 May (BelTA) - The Eurasian Economic Union is becoming one of the centers of the emerging multipolar world, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Moscow on 25 May, BelTA has learned.
"Cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Union continues to gain momentum, and our association is establishing itself as one of the independent and self-sufficient centers of the emerging multipolar world," Vladimir Putin said. "In their cooperation the five countries are always guided by the principles of mutual benefit and respect for each other's interests and the commitment to ensuring sustainable economic growth and improving the well-being of citizens of all our states."
The president also urged to make sure that citizens of all five EAEU countries, when coming to another state of the Eurasian Economic Union for work, study or business, feel at home.
