MOSCOW, 6 April (BelTA) - The development of a common industrial policy of Belarus and Russia is in full swing, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State in the Kremlin in Moscow on 6 April, BelTA has learned.
“The development of a common industrial policy is in full swing. Aleksandr Grigoryevich [Lukashenko] has been raising this question for many years. And we are moving towards implementing all these issues,” Vladimir Putin said.
In his words, an agreement on the recognition of technological operations came into force in December 2022. This document will help ensure the transfer of Russian and Belarusian industrial enterprises to common standards so that the implementation of major cooperation projects will move forward smoothly. “We discussed these issues yesterday. In some areas, including agricultural machinery, the work is progressing very successfully and benefits both the Russian and Belarusian industries,” the Russian president said.
The Russian head of state also praised significant achievements in the integration of key economic sectors. According to him, the implementation of the main areas of the Union State Treaty 2021-2023 and allied programs continues. “This work brings concrete, tangible results. This work, as we have agreed today, will certainly continue, without slowing down,” Vladimir Putin said.
