MOSCOW, 16 March (BelTA) – The coronavirus situation will not interfere with the organization of the upcoming session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Minsk on 10 April, however, the number of participants should be seriously optimized. Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich made the relevant statement after a session of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission held on 16 March as a video conference, BelTA has learned.
Mikhail Myasnikovich remarked that, as a rule, events with a large number of participants get cancelled due to the coronavirus situation. “We believe that the session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council can be organized after the number of participants is seriously optimized,” the official said.
