MOSCOW, 2 February (BelTA) – The UN Security Council is expected to discuss tighter cooperation with the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), BelTA learned from the CSTO's Telegram channel.
According to the source, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Stanislav Zas is expected to participate in a session of the UN Security Council using videoconference technologies on 16 February. The session will be chaired by the Russian Federation. Ways to step up UN-CSTO cooperation are supposed to be discussed during debates taking into account the significant role the Collective Security Treaty Organization plays in ensuring security in the Eurasian space.
