OSCE/ODIHR to publish final report on Belarus' parliamentary elections in a week

MINSK, 27 February (BelTA) – The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) plans to publish its observation mission final report on the parliamentary elections in Belarus in a week, OSCE ODIHR Director Ingibjorg Solrun Gisladottir told the media, BelTA has learned.

“We are planning to publish our observation mission final report in a week. After we present it, we will be ready to discuss it in detail,” Ingibjorg Solrun Gisladottir said.

The OSCE ODIHR director is taking part in an international conference in Minsk organized by the country's Supreme Court in cooperation with the OSCE ODIHR and the Council of Europe. The conference highlights the issues of the unified procedural code as a tool to exercise the right to a fair trial in civil and commercial disputes.

The elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus took place in November 2019.
