MINSK, 3 December (BelTA) – It is necessary once and for all to ban those who are financed by foreign donors from doing politics in Belarus, member of the House of Representatives, leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus Oleg Gaidukevich told the ONT TV channel, BelTA informs.
“We must now reform the political system once and for all, close the opportunity to engage in politics and participate in political processes for those who are financed from abroad. This is a worldwide practice. He who pays the piper calls the tune,” Oleg Gaidukevich said.
He stressed that if any politician is financed from abroad, he/she will never defend the interests of their country. “It's impossible,” the MP added.
