MINSK, 10 September (BelTA) - Belarus cannot survive as a neutral country in the region, political analyst, director of the Center for European Integration Yuri Shevtsov said on the air of the ONT TV channel on 9 September, BelTA has learned.
"We are located on the borderline between two powerful geopolitical powers: Russian statehood and its allied countries and the European Union. There is no way Belarus could be neutral," the political analyst is convinced.
In his opinion, Belarus can survive only in alliance with Russia, otherwise it will "explode" and "will be worse off than the Donbass."
