North Korean ambassador presents copies of credentials in Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

MINSK, 12 April (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Dapkiunas met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to Belarus Ju Jong Bong on the occasion of his arrival in the country, the ministry's press service told BelTA.

Andrei Dapkiunas welcomed the decision of North Korea's leadership to send the first ever ambassador to Belarus with the residence in Minsk. He wished every success to Ju Jong Bong.

During the meeting the ambassador handed over copies of his credentials to the Belarusian deputy minister of foreign affairs. The sides discussed the state and prospects of advancing bilateral relations as well as cooperation in international organizations.
