New Russian ambassador presents copy of credentials to Belarus foreign minister

MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev to receive a copy of his credentials, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarus'Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Vladimir Makei congratulated the Russian ambassador on the start of his diplomatic mission in Belarus and expressed hope that his active work will contribute to further strengthening of Belarus-Russia relations.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation and interaction of Belarus and Russia within the framework of integration associations.
