MOSCOW, 23 March (BelTA) – A joint meeting of the commissions on budget and finance and economic policy of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will be held on 29 March in a virtual format, BelTA learned from the PA press service.
"Participants will consider the progress in the work on accounting the property created and/or acquired from the funds of the Union State budget and using the results in the implementation of programs and projects of the Union State," the press service said.
The MPs will be briefed on the status of the new programs and projects of the Union State and a report of the Council of Ministers of the Union State on the execution of the Union State budget 2020.
"The MPs are set to review trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Russia," the press service added.
The meeting will bring together representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State, ministries and departments acting as state customers of the programs and activities of the Union State and officials of the financial, economic and control bodies of Belarus and Russia.
