MP: Injustice of geopolitical claims boomerangs back to their initiators

MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) - Injustice of geopolitical claims boomerangs back to their initiators, Deputy Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Human Rights, National Relations and Mass Media of the House of Representatives Lilia Ananich told the media, BelTA has learned.

“The results of the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State are convincing proof of the futility of the attempts of the so-called collective West to rule over the entire world. Unrighteousness and injustice of geopolitical claims boomerangs back to their initiators, while on our side are both God and people. As it has happened more than once in history, in the years of hard times the peoples of Belarus and Russia stood up for each other, fighting for their right to live independently. It is the same at the present time, when the leaders of Belarus and Russia, having colossal support of the peoples, are taking decisive and effective steps to overcome hybrid attacks. “As part of the presidents' one-on-one communication, and at the meeting of the Supreme State Council they demonstrated the highest level of trust between the countries and the mutual desire to move forward in the development of mutually beneficial integration ties,” Lilia Ananich said. “The results speak for themselves - together Belarus and Russia did not give in to the sanctions and are ready to build up the potential of the economies of the two countries.”

28 Union State programs have already been implemented by 80%. They will be followed by others, the MP is confident.

“Security predictably took the most important place in the agenda of the Supreme State Council meeting. In this regard, a new initiative of Belarusian President, Chairman of the Supreme State Council of the Union State Aleksandr Lukashenko was voiced and relevant instructions to develop a security concept of the Union State were given. The urgent reminder of the Belarusian leader to set up a full-fledged media holding of the Union State should also be considered in this aspect. One cannot but notice that there are new tasks in the Union State construction. Such were decisions to support new Russian regions from the Union State budget. This is also an important vector and marker. To sum up I would like to say: we will not give up our own and we will respond to the claims of our enemies with dignity,” the MP added.
