Makei to attend OSCE Ministerial Council in Milan on 6-7 December

MINSK, 4 December (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei will take part in the 25th meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE Ministerial Council) that will take place in Milan on 6-7 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The participants of the meeting will discuss a broad range of matters within three dimensions: military and politics, economy and environment as well as humanitarian field. Vladimir Makei will deliver a speech at the plenary session and will hold a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the forum.

The Ministerial Council meeting is held annually to review and assess the OSCE's activities, discuss the situation in the region and identify tasks for the near-term perspective.
