Makei: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is directly involved in the intranational dialogue

MINSK, 10 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is directly involved in the dialogue going on in the country, BelTA learned from Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei.

The official said: “Certainly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is directly involved in the ongoing intranational dialogue. Whatever someone outside may say about it, but the dialogue platforms that have been created now are real platforms where anyone can express their opinion. We see confirmations that representatives of various population strata participate in them.”

“Regardless of how much someone can be sceptic about it, I believe these platforms will ultimately produce a huge amount of food for thought regarding how we are to live from now on in various spheres: economy, lawmaking, the implementation of the constitutional process, and so on,” Vladimir Makei stated.

The official continued: “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also takes part in it. We've prepared the relevant proposals and have forwarded them to the bodies that analyze these proposals. As part of preparations for the Belarusian People's Congress, within the framework of the working group that has been created and that includes representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we will endeavor to convey our deliberations and will try to include them into the resulting materials of the Belarusian People's Congress.”

Vladimir Makei is convinced that proposals of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be met with the relevant feedback and support.
