MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) – A telephone conversation between Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik and Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov took place on 14 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the telephone talk Sergey Lavrov warmly congratulated his Belarusian counterpart on his appointment as minister of foreign affairs.
The ministers reaffirmed their readiness for further fruitful cooperation and discussed preparations for events organized by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries.
