MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) –The ‘peaceful protesters' and radicals whose number is increasing do not need a dialogue. The opposition does not want to be constructive, it seeks to achieve only its own goals, Latvian political scientist Normunds Grostins told the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA informs.
“It is extremely unprofitable for them to simply stop the protests, because in this case they will lose a lot of funds. Therefore, the protests must continue at any cost. Moreover, there should be pictures of someone falling, someone being carried somewhere, or even better if someone is depicted beaten up,” Normunds Grostins said.
According to the political scientist, the opposition will use any available tools to provoke bigger protests ‘in order to apply for grants again'.
