MINSK, 19 May (BelTA) – Kyrgyzstan President Sooronbay Jeenbekov suggested the EAEU development fund at the videoconference meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on 19 May, BelTA has learned.
“Our initiative to establish the EAEU Development Institute is reflected in the declaration on further development of integration processes. However, these proposals were not included in the draft strategy through 2025. In this regard, I would like to stress once again the need to set up a financial institution within the framework of the Union such as the EAEU development fund,” Sooronbay Jeenbekov said.
According to him, the draft Strategic Areas of the Eurasian Economic Integration do not reflect some other initiatives. “I consider it necessary to finalize the draft document,” the Kyrgyzstan president added.
