Kuleba: Foreign ministers of Russia, Ukraine and Turkey discussed ceasefire in Ukraine

MINSK, 10 March (BelTA) - The foreign ministers of the Russian Federation, Ukraine and Turkey discussed the ceasefire in Ukraine, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba told the media following the talks in Antalya, TASS reports.

According to Dmitry Kuleba, an agreement was reached to continue efforts to find a humanitarian solution on the ground.

Dmitry Kuleba said that he came to Antalya with two tasks: to organize a humanitarian corridor from Mariupol and a 24-hour truce. He also said that Kiev does not intend to comply with the demands put forward by Russia.

The format of negotiations with Russia, that took place on 10 March, will be continued, the minister noted. Dmitry Kuleba also expressed readiness to hold a second meeting with the foreign ministers of the Russian Federation and Turkey.

The meeting of the foreign ministers of Russia and Ukraine, Sergey Lavrov and Dmitry Kuleba, with the participation of Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu was held in Antalya, Turkey on 10 March. The talks took place on the sidelines of a diplomatic forum and lasted more than an hour and a half. This meeting was the first high-level contact after the start of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine.
