Kazakhstan president to visit Belarus in 2020

MINSK, 26 December (BelTA) – An official visit of Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Belarus is to take place in 2020, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Belarus Askar Beisenbayev said at a press conference timed to Kazakhstan's Independence Day on 26 December, BelTA has learned.

The diplomat noted that the visit will be arranged upon the invitation of Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko.

Askar Beisenbayev spoke highly of the results of Aleksandr Lukashenko's earlier visit to Kazakhstan and the agreements achieved across a broad number of areas. The parties signed agreements that are being implemented now.

The ambassador welcomed a brand new level of cooperation between the two states.
