MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) – A joint meeting of the CIS Council of Permanent Plenipotentiaries and the Commission on Economic Affairs at the CIS Economic Council will be held via a videoconference link between the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk and its office in Moscow on 26 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
The meeting will discuss the draft agenda of the next meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government in Ashgabat on 31 May and the preparations for the next meeting of the CIS Ministerial Council due in Moscow on 5 April.
The CIS Council of Permanent Plenipotentiaries and the Commission on Economic Affairs will take stock of sectoral cooperation in 2018 and hear a report on the activities of the CIS Council on Industrial Policy to coordinate the execution of the decisions passed by the CIS supreme bodies which will be presented by Yuri Chebotar, a member of the council, Belarus Deputy Economy Minister.
