MINSK, 26 December (BelTA) – Foreign Policy Magazine has informed that U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo might visit Belarus in January 2020, BelTA has learned.
The publication refers to unnamed officials in the United States.
A reminder, a number of high-level officials from the United States visited Belarus in 2019. Those were President Donald Trump's then-National Security Advisor John Bolton and United States Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs David Hale. The parties declared their intention to revive diplomatic ties between Belarus and the United States at the level of ambassadors.
Foreign Policy Magazine is based in the United States. Its circulation is over 100,000 copies. The magazine is published every two months.
