MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei had a telephone conversation with Finnish Minister of Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto on 18 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The ministers reaffirmed mutual commitment to maintaining communication channels, contacts and a dialogue,” the press service informed.
The foreign ministers exchanged views on the ongoing developments in Belarus following the presidential election. They also discussed cooperation prospects.
