MINSK, 23 January (BelTA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Aleinik has had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. The conversation took place on the initiative of the Saudi side on 23 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The foreign ministers discussed topical issues of the political, trade and economic agenda. They also mapped out near-term plans to step up the Belarus-Saudi Arabia dialogue.
They confirmed their interest in intensifying the comprehensive bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to provide support to each other in the international arena.
