MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei had a phone conversation with Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Alexander Schallenberg, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The conversation was initiated by the Austrian side. The parties discussed a broad range of issues of bilateral cooperation, with a focus on the implementation of the agreements reached during the official visit of the Belarusian president to Austria in November 2019.
“The parties emphasized the need to consolidate international efforts to combat the spread of the coronavirus infection. They also noted that it is important to learn the right lessons from the ongoing crisis, restore and strengthen a full-scale international dialogue,” the ministry informed.
