
MINSK, 22 February (BelTA) – The year 2023 will be no less tense, but Belarus stands ready to confront further challenges, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik said at a meeting of the ministry collegium, BelTA has learned.
“We estimate that the year 2023 will be no less tense. Our opponents possess significant power and capabilities. The pressure on us will not cease. But we have grown stronger and this is not the limit of our strength and capabilities. We stand ready to address further challenges in a calm consistent manner,” Sergei Aleinik noted.
According to him, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will focus on such fundamental priorities as preserving the sovereignty and security of the Belarusian state, strengthening the country's economic potential and the well-being of citizens.
