Eurasian Intergovernmental Council to hold meeting on 9 October

MOSCOW, 23 September (BelTA) - The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will hold a meeting on 9 October, Iya Malkina, an assistant to the chairman of the board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, said as she took part in an online briefing on 9 September, BelTA has learned.

One of the issues to be considered by the prime ministers of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will be the draft strategy of the development of the EAEU until 2025, Iya Malkina said. According to her, the document is being actively finalized. “The EEC Board found solutions to 28 issues during the meetings in September,” Iya Malkina said. “The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will consider a number of sensitive issues with a view to submitting the finalized document to the heads of state,” she noted.
