EAEU countries present views on liberalization of international transportation by road

MOSCOW, 15 April (BelTA) – Member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) have presented their views on the matter of liberalization of international transportation by road, the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission told BelTA.

A videoconference meeting of the high-level working group chaired by Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich took place on 15 April. Heads of the authorities of the EAEU member states in charge of regulating transport industry took part in it. The sides outlined their views on the step-by-step liberalization of international transportation by road. The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission will be informed about results of the work on 20 April.

The meeting was organized upon instructions of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which were issued on 10 April in order to polish draft strategic guidelines on advancing Eurasian integration till 2025.
