MINSK, 24 June (BelTA) – Belarus and Moldova have very good contacts at the political level, Moldova President Igor Dodon told the STV channel, BelTA has learned.
“We have very good contacts at the political level, very good joint ventures in Kishinev. We assemble tractors, trolleybuses. I believe all these projects will go on,” Igor Dodon said.
While in Belarus, the Moldova president visited the Hi-Tech Park, among other places. The HTP arranged a presentation of the park's capacities and Belarus' prospects in the IT sector for Igor Dodon. “I was surprised to see the achievements that I saw in the park. There are IT parks in Moldova, too, but I believe that there are things we can learn from you. I am convinced that we should continue our cooperation,” the Moldovan leader said.
Igor Dodon commented on the recent developments in Moldova and the formation of a new government. “Maybe, it is the first time in independent Moldova when different political groups have arrived at a consensus, which is a unique experience for our region. This is a fragile parliamentary majority. Our task is to make it last. Of course, as a president I will put every effort into it,” he said.More about Politics
