CIS IPA election observation mission has no remarks regarding voting process in Belarus

MINSK, 9 August (BelTA) – The election observation mission of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS IPA) has not reported any complaints regarding the voting process in Belarus' presidential election, Secretary General of the Board of the CIS IPA Dmitry Kobitsky told TASS at the opening of one of polling stations.

“We have been to many regions, cities and towns. We have heard all the participants of the observation process. We have not received a single complaint over these days. At the opening of the polling station today we have asked the opinion of the chairman of the election commission, observers; all of them said that everything is going on very correctly,” Dmitry Kobitsky said.

Belarus' presidential candidates include Andrei Dmitriyev, Anna Kanopatskaya, Aleksandr Lukashenko, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya and Sergei Cherechen.
