NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MOSCOW, 3 September (BelTA) – A joint meeting of the defense ministers of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will take place in the congress center of the Patriot park in Moscow Oblast on 4 September, BelTA learned CSTO spokesperson Vladimir Zainetdinov.
“The defense agencies will discuss issues of international and regional security, consolidation of efforts to prevent threats of wars and armed conflicts, further strengthening of military cooperation in the current conditions. CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas will speak at the event,” the spokesperson said.
It is expected that the participants of the meeting will adopt a joint statement on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Second World War.
