Brussels hosts Belarus-EU Coordination Group on 13-14 December

MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – The sixth meeting of the Belarus-EU Coordination Group is running in Brussels on 13-14 December, Anatoly Glaz, Head of the Information and Digital Diplomacy Office, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told a press briefing, BelTA has learned.

Attending the event are representatives of the European Commission, the European External Action Service, the government bodies of the Republic of Belarus. The Belarusian delegation is headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko.

The parties are discussing bilateral relations, Belarus' participation in the EU's Eastern Partnership initiative, human rights, cooperation in education, science, environmental protection, energy, transport, digital economy, international technical assistance.

The Belarus-EU Coordination Group has been meeting since 2016. The group was set up to ensure political dialogue across the entire spectrum of bilateral cooperation.
