
MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) - The bill on the Belarusian People's Congress will be soon submitted to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, Chairwoman of the Standing Committee on Legislation of the House of Representatives Svetlana Lyubetskaya told the media after the meeting hosted by the president on 13 December to discuss issues related to the harmonization of certain laws in accordance with the updated Constitution, BelTA has learned.
“The finalization of the bill, taking into account the conceptual ideas, approaches, and provisions, has been completed. The bill is ready for submission to the House of Representatives. It will further undergo preparations for the first and second readings, which is established by our legislation with regard to lawmaking,” she said.
The deadline for submitting the bill on the Belarusian People's Congress to the parliament is March 2023. “We will do our best to prepare it as soon as possible, introduce it and work with it further,” the MP said.
