MINSK, 18 January (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik has met with Head of the European Union's Delegation to Belarus Dirk Schuebel, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
Sergei Aleinik and Dirk Schuebel discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between Belarus and the European Union.
The Belarusian side mentioned that the nature of the restrictions the European Union had introduced against the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian citizens and companies was not constructive. The Belarusian side underlined its interest in advancing cooperation with the European Union on principles of mutual respect and good neighborhood.
