NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) - Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik arrived in New York for the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, BeltA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"A packed program from the first minutes. Already today the minister will speak at the multilateral forum and hold bilateral meetings," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
During the visit to New York Sergei Aleinik is scheduled to make speeches at the general political debates of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, to participate in the CSTO ministerial meeting, the ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends in Defense of the UN Charter, the ministerial meeting of the Group of Like-Minded People in Support of Middle-Income Countries and a number of other multilateral events.
On the sidelines of the General Assembly, the Belarusian minister of foreign affairs is set to meet with colleagues from Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, the leadership of the United Nations.
