MINSK, 21 December (BelTA) - Belarus and Russia are beginning to discuss new Union State programs designed to run in 2024-2026, Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Dmitry Krutoi said in a new episode of BelTA's YouTube project "After the Fact: Lukashenko's Decisions".

The current 28 sectoral programs are to be completed in 2023. They are about the common policy in the credit, financial and banking sectors, common principles of taxation, common approaches to the work of manufacturing industries and agriculture. The governments of Belarus and Russia are already thinking about Union State programs for the next three years 2024-2026.

"For the time being this has been an informal dialogue. Nothing official yet. Part of the programs will be transformed. Some things will be accomplished, some sectors will be added. There is also a set of welfare matters,” Ambassador Dmitry Krutoi explained.
