Belarus, Uzbekistan review plan for cooperation in security

MINSK, 21 February (BelTA) - State Secretary of the Belarusian Security Council Stanislav Zas met with Deputy Secretary of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan Bobur Shayakubov in Minsk on 21 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the Security Council.

The parties reviewed the status of implementation of the cooperation plan between the two countries in the field of security for 2019-2020 and the military-technical cooperation between the state national security bodies. In addition, the parties also discussed the provision of practical and methodological assistance to the Uzbek colleagues in reforming the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
