NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) – Cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan has been discussed at the ministerial consultations in Minsk. Taking part in the consultations were Belarusian First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Yeudachenka and Uzbekistan's First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ilhomjon Nematov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The consultations were held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere; the parties discussed a broad range of matters and outlined cooperation plans. They welcomed a friendly and mutually respectful political dialogue between Belarus and Uzbekistan at the highest level and fruitful cooperation of the two countries within the framework of international organizations,” the press service noted.
Top on the agenda of the meeting was cooperation in economy and trade, in particular, in manufacturing and agriculture, as well as in healthcare. The parties expressed a mutual interest in scaling up cooperation in culture, education and science.
