MINSK, 19 April (BelTA) - It is necessary to offer our best practices in association development to the counterparts in the CIS, the SCO and the BRICS, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko said as he opened the fifth edition of the Eurasian Digital Forum on the sidelines of the TIBO 2023 international forum, BelTA has learned.

“The trend to increase the range of digital tasks solved on the basis of the EAEU should be supported and advanced developments should be offered to our colleagues within the CIS, SCO and BRICS. Currently, there is a good foundation for such alignment,” Igor Petrishenko said. “The strengthening of mutual relations between the SCO, BRICS, CIS and EAEU will help successfully overcome existing challenges and ensure a more intensive development of the member states of these associations,” he said.

The Eurasian Digital Forum will include a number of thematic sessions on a wide range of identified issues of cooperation in the digital sector of the member states and the Eurasian Economic Commission.
