Belarus, Uganda discuss legal framework development

MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) – Belarus' First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uganda to Russia with concurrent accreditation in Belarus Johnson Olwa on 10 March to mark the completion of his diplomatic mission in Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Sergei Aleinik positively assessed the ambassador's contribution to the development of Belarusian-Ugandan cooperation. The parties agreed to further enhance cooperation between the two states in political, trade and economic areas,” the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The parties also discussed the development of the legal framework for the relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uganda.
