MINSK, 24 December (BelTA) – Belarus and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have discussed cooperation in agriculture and environmental protection, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The matters were considered at a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates Andrei Luchenok and UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment Thani Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi. The parties talked over the Belarus-UAE cooperation in environmental protection, agriculture and science.
The parties discussed bilateral ties in the production and supplies of agricultural products, permits for Belarusian food producers for exports to the UAE, the development of the legal framework in environmental protection, agriculture and science. The attention was also paid to the exchange of visits.
