MINSK, 27 March (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Turkmenistan Vyacheslav Beskosty met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vepa Hadzhiev, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
Vyacheslav Beskosty and Vepa Hadzhiev discussed topical items on the bilateral agenda, including the measures Belarus and Turkmenistan take to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, to protect interests of citizens staying abroad.
The sides remarked upon the friendly nature of relations and the high level of Belarus-Turkmenistan cooperation in overcoming negative consequences of the epidemiological situation in the world.
