NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Sergei Aleinik met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Russian Federation and concurrently to the Republic of Belarus Abdulrahman bin Suleiman Al-Ahmad on 21 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the topical issues of the Belarusian-Saudi relations. Special consideration was given to the development of the political dialogue, prospects for expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation.
The Belarusian minister underscored that given the traditionally friendly nature of the Belarusian-Saudi relations, the Republic of Belarus has decided to support Saudi Arabia's bid for World Expo 2030. The parties expressed confidence that Riyadh will be a good host of this big international event and that Belarus will contribute to its success.
