Belarus seeks broader agenda of cooperation with Egypt

MINSK, 12 September (BelTA) – Belarus will broaden the agenda of cooperation with Egypt, Sergei Terentyev, who has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt with concurrent accreditation to the Republic of the Sudan and the Sultanate of Oman, Belarus' Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, BelTA has learned.

“Today the agenda of Belarus-Egypt relations is broad and we will work to expand it even further”, the ambassador said.

According to him, the key priorities for the bilateral cooperation include trade, industrial cooperation, education, science and technology. Sergei Terentyev highlighted tourism saying that the sector is of the utmost importance. “We hope to promote it in the future and see more visitors from Egypt in Belarus,” he added.
