MOSCOW, 12 November (BelTA) – The next session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will be held in Saint Petersburg on 20-21 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the assembly.
“The MPs will consider the draft decree of the Supreme State Council of the Union State on the budget of the Union State for 2020 and the report of the Union State Council of Ministers on the execution of the Union State budget in 2018,” the press service noted. “The MPs are also set to look into prospects of making model laws in the Belarus-Russia Union State and to approve the schedule of work of the Parliamentary Assembly for 2020,” the press service added.
In line with the decision made at the previous session, the MPs will also discuss the statement of the Parliamentary Assembly on the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Taking part in the session will also be senior officials of ministries and government agencies of Belarus and Russia, representatives of the Union State Standing Committee, and permanent observers to the Parliamentary Assembly.More about Politics
