Belarus, Russia to consider mutual recognition of COVID-19 vaccination certificates

MINSK, 10 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia will discuss mutual recognition of COVID-19 vaccination certificates, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei said at a joint press conference following the annual meeting of the Russian-Belarusian ministerial collegium in Moscow on 10 November, BelTA has learned.

"Mutual recognition of COVID-19 vaccination certificates issued in Belarus and Russia would greatly simplify the lives of citizens of the two countries, especially taking into account the growing flow of Russian tourists to Belarusian health resorts," the minister said.

"Together we will discuss the options to resolve this issue," Vladimir Makei said.
