Belarus-Russia relations discussed in Minsk

MINSK, 11 September (BelTA) – Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Russian Ambassador to Belarus Mikhail Babich to receive the copies of his credentials, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The parties discussed the pressing issues of Belarus-Russia relations and the near-term agenda of the bilateral meetings at the highest and high level. The parties reviewed the practical steps to bolster trade and economic ties. The parties also touched upon the cooperation in the integration associations,” the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.

Vladimir Makei wished every success to Mikhail Babich and expressed hope for active joint work to further strategic relations between Minsk and Moscow.
