Belarus, Russia discuss relations with U.S., Canada

MINSK, 12 September (BelTA) – Minsk played host to the consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Russia to discuss relations with the United States and Canada, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the current state of relations of Belarus and Russia with the United States and Canada, exchanged views and compared notes on the approaches of the two ministries to building dialogue with the two countries for a long-term perspective.

The Belarusian delegation was led at the consultations by head of the department for Europe and North America Andrei Bushilo. The Russian delegation was headed by director of the department for North America Georgy Borisenko.
