Belarus-OSCE economic, humanitarian cooperation discussed

MINSK, 23 January (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with OSCE PA Special Representative for Eastern Europe Kent Harstedt on 23 January in Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The sides discussed the general situation within the OSCE's area of responsibility, relations between Belarus and the OSCE PA, and also prospects for cooperation with the OSCE PA special representative, including in trade, economy, humanitarian field, and election-related matters,” the press service said.

Vladimir Makei praised high-level cooperation of Belarus with the OSCE and its Parliamentary Assembly in the past years and reaffirmed Belarus' commitment to constructive cooperation with the OSCE PA special representative in all fields of mutual interest.
