Belarus-NATO cooperation prospects discussed in Minsk

MINSK, 10 December (BelTA) – Prospects of advancing cooperation between Belarus and NATO were discussed in the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 10 December, BelTA has learned.

Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Dapkiunas met with Director of the Arms Control, Disarmament, and WMD Non-Proliferation Center of the NATO International Secretariat William Alberque on the eve of the third round of Belarus-NATO expert consultations on trust and security measures.

Andrei Dapkiunas and William Alberque exchanged opinions about progress in and prospects of advancing Belarus-NATO cooperation. The growing importance of the work of Belarusian and NATO experts to develop and implement trust-building and security measures was noted.
