Belarus, Montenegro to step up cooperation

MOSCOW, 17 January (BelTA) – The ways to intensify the Belarus-Montenegro cooperation in various fields were considered at a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Vladimir Semashko and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to Belarus (on concurrent accreditation) Ramiz Basic in Moscow on 17 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian embassy.

“The parties discussed the ways to intensify cooperation in the political, economic and tourism areas. Special attention was paid to the forthcoming visit of Ramiz Basic to Minsk,” said representatives of the diplomatic mission.

Belarus and Montenegro established diplomatic relations on 8 August 2006.
